Dumbell Benchpress

This exercise is not to be confused with flyes. It is not the same
thing. These are far safer and more effective.
You grasp a pair of dumbells and press them straight above you as Clint is doing
here. In most cases you won't want to raise your head as Clint is doing in photo one.
Clint is beginning with his palms facing each other. This is a perfectly acceptable
way to perform this exercise. It can also be performed palms facing down mimiking the position of holding onto
one bar.
The advantages
to the DB benchpress are
* You can lower the weight farther than a barbell
* Your stabilizing muscles are worked harder at balancing and controlling the weight
* These can safely be done without a spotter
Disadvantages
* Not as much weight can be used
* It can be cumbersome getting into position to perform this lift
