I've been married for 4 years to my beautiful wife Kristy and have 5 children,
1 girl and 4 boys, 3 from a previous marriage, 2 with Kristy. The kids range in age from
1year to 17.

I've been training with weights since I was about 12 years old virtually non-
stop as well as playing football up through my sophomore year in college. I started
competing in powerlifting in 1993. I've competed in NASA, USAPL, and APA. Some of
my proudest accomplishments in powerlifting include first place in NASA Grand
Nationals, USAPL Police/Fire Nationals, and Midwest Police/Fire Games.

I train in my basement, usually by myself with an occassional spot from my
wife.

My goals are to total elite at 220 before turning 41.
