GAIN WEIGHT! I need to pick up about 10 pounds and compete @ 181. 165 is too light for me to keep my strength, but with the added weight I'll be much stronger. Looking for 1600+ in 2004. I WILL DO IT!!!

Brian Propst:
Squat 500
BP 365
DL 550
By the end of 2004

C. Jeff Finlayson:

Squat - 520 lb
Bench - 325 lb
Deadlift - 525 lb
Total - >1350 lb (to qualify for APA national's & world's meets)
Stay in 181 lb class, get more sleep, add a little size to calves and forearms.
Jeff out ...

DanL:
By the end of the year:

Squat 575
Bench 425
Dead 625

Dian:
Goals goals goals...how suddenly they can change!
Six months ago, I would have said that I'd be setting some pretty stiff goals for myself this year. Now I've been humbled, and my goals are so much more...meager.
I lost strength all through the late summer and fall, while I struggled with trying to lift around the restrictions of my wounded arm. But at least I had some chances to regain some of it. It doesn't even compare to how rapidly I've dropped strength in the last two weeks since I've been on the interferon.
Looking forward to an entire year on ~the juice~ is disconcerting, but I am hoping that once I get past the initial 4 weeks of interferon boot camp, I'll be able to get into a more productive time in the gym.
Still, I guess my goals don't center around numbers much at all. Rather, it's my hope that I will still be lifting on a regular schedule. That I'll still be challenging myself to do more in the gym. That I can get my husband into lifting.
That's about IT for lifting goals! I'm also working on learning guided imagery, so I'd like to perfect that during the next few months. And, I hope to learn as much from the experience I am going through now as I can.
Maybe at the END of 2004, I'll have my strength up to where it was 6 months ago, and I can plan some new PR goals for 2005!

James Kothrade:

Soooo for 2004 I WILL get my @$$ back into the gym. I am not going to bother competing in the WA event in the spring since I won't be back up to where I was for last meet (which I didn't make because I was in Denver for the war). IF there is a meet after the spring (which will give me time for muscle memory to do it's thing) I WILL go and achieve a minimum total of 1000 lbs. The deads will be a big helper with that getting me at least half way there.

Meet goals for 2004 (IF I am able to make it to competition): Bench--295, Squat---365, Dead----550, total--1200. Yeah the total doesn't add up, but that is assuming that the other lifts are higher than my goal. :-)

Joe Cox:
at 242lb

all raw (belt only) goals, no suits or wraps
600+ squat
450+ bench
600+ dead
Hopefully my gear will add around 100 lbs to each lift but I'm not really setting gear goals yet until I've at least tried a squat & deadlift suit.
Compete in my first full meet.
Stay healthy.
Help my dad add 50-100 lbs on each of his lifts.

Joe DeMarco:
Since my recent re-introduction into the competitive arena I'd like to compete in more meets. I also would like to Squat 550+, Bench 350+, and Dead at least 600 by this time next year. Hopefully all will be done at 198 or 220.

Gabrielle Jayde:
i'd like to lose my 'bench specialist' title and become a 'bencher and deadlifter', but only if i can deadlift over 300.
and currently, i'd just like to be able to raise my left arm without pain.

Lisa Siddell:
My goal for 2004 is to lose 10lbs and to gain at least 30 on my bench. Oh yeah and hope for world peace:)

Lynne Nelson:
I would like to Bench 225/Squat400/deadlift480/Total 1100. Want to stay injury free and have a good family/health/lifting year.

Mike "Notorious B.U.S" Brookman
Squat: 700
Bench: 500
Deadlift: 600

All of the above on March 20, 2004

Later in the year I would like to achieve a 1900 total via something like:

Squat: 730
Bench: 530
Deadlift: 640

As long as I hit the 1900 I could care less about what lift does what above as long as they are all PRs. :)

Patty:
Squat 300
Bench 180
Dead 350

Tom Lewis:

600 pound bench

Wade Johnson:
Total elite
Squat: 900+
Bench: 600+
Deadlift: high 600's-700
OL meet
Maybe even an SM contest again.
Help the lifters I work with achieve their goals.
Run 4-6 meets
Grow our little business.
Grow our family-no, not in number...just keep us going in the right direction.
Save more animals.
Maybe lose some more bodyfat.
Meet my bench mentor in person finally.
Lots of stuff, I could go on....
