I'll make this short and sweet, so here it goes.

I started back into lifting weights in September 1998 while I was in Saudi Arabia (Prince Sultan Air Base) on a two month tour there with the Air Force. Naturally after being out of the game for some 8 to 9 years the lifts were pretty minimal. My current goal is to hit 200 pounds by April 15, 2002 just to see if it is possible. My long term goal is to get as big and as strong as possible. I figure why set a limit for myself when the limits are no limits, as far as size and strength goes.

My current routine is the following:
Monday........Arms
Tuesday........Legs
Wednesday...Chest/Delts
Thursday......Back/Traps

I have been out for a month's time due to the 9/11 attacks and the doc saying not to lift. So, no I am at that point where I am making back the strength I lost over that month, but am gradually working back into the Max-OT training principles. To know all about that, you'll have to go to the AST website and read up. It is too long of a deal to completely get the picture. Anyways, I am starting out with high reps doing a total of 6 sets per body part (main body part..i.e. arms, chest, delts, etc.) and 8 to 9
sets of legs and back. I am hitting 12-15 reps for the first 2 weeks, then 2 weeks of 10-12, 2 weeks of 8-10, 2 weeks of 6-8, then finally the Max-OT way of 4-6 reps. I will stay at the 4-6 rep range until I start to plateau, but since I was on that same principle for over 6 months without plateauing, it'll be a while before I will most likely hit a plateau.

I am happily married and have two children, a son and a daughter. I currently live in Montana (that would be up north in the US, if you haven't heard of it, or know where it is. LOL). I am currently in the Montana Air National Guard to finish out my retirement in the military. I spent ten years in active duty Air Force before I got out of it. [Due to the September 11 events, I have been called up to active duty] My other job, downtown, I work as an insulation installer. It is a nasty job, but someone
has to do it. I am also a weekend bouncer at the only dance club in town, talk about some exciting events there. My wife claims (jokingly) that I work there to check out the young 18 year old girls. I tell her it is one of the perks. LOL

That's all, I guess. If you really want to know more about me you can check out my website at www.angelfire.com/mt/JamesKothrade. There you will find all you want or need to know about me.
