Hobbies Powerlifting
I started lifting wieghts in the 7th grade because I was the smallest,
slowest, and weakest kid on the football team. Asked for a weight set for
Christmas and never looked back. I competed in Football and Track and Field
in high school, but lifting has always been my true passion. In college I
lifted with a group of bodybuilders, but my senoir year I switched to
powerlifting and knew I had found my sport. I competed in one meet in
college and then went on to be a teacher and coach. Three years ago a
friend convinced my to start competing again and I am thankful that he
inspired me to return to the platform. Thanks to Scott McFarland that got
me started in Powerlifting and Jim McGee for inspiring me to return.

Squat over 600
Bench over 450
DL 575
Total over 1600
Remain in the 198 weight class
Future goals
Lift a total to be classified Elite 1731
Compete in the USAPL National bench and or powerlifting meet
Break the state bench and total record for USAPL at 198
Long term goals
Be a great master lifter.
Compete in the IPF as a master in bench or full meet
