I competed in endurance sports most of my life and was a High School All-American in Cross Country and Track and Field, All-American consideration in swimming, and a US Triathalon Series National Qualifier. Weightlifting has been part of my life since I was 13.
I did my first powerlifting meet in December of 1999 at 198 where I bombed in the bench. It was a an experience I learned from and have not repeated. I posted my first total in September of 2000 and have been making steady gains since. This sport is the most challenging but also the most fun of any athletic activity I have been fortunate enough to compete in.
Between my family, the community, career, and powerlifting, I don't have much time for anything else other than general entertainment. My wife and I support others in seeking their dreams and creating opportunities and realtionships in their life. We stand for a world where everyone can live effortlessly without fear and bring to reality what may seem impossible.

Training Protocol: Westside Barbell - The real deal with all the bells and whistles (or is that chains and bands?), extra workouts, and sled dragging. It's the only program I can stay on injury free.
I am fortunate to travel often and frequent many gyms across the country. Maybe I'll get to train with YOU
someday! Best of life to all and remember, the only person that can stop you from achieving your goals is
yourself...now get to the gym and work on those PR's!
Thanks to all the Superheroes of our sport who have done what others thought was impossible. Most of all
thanks for sharing your experience. You know who you are!
